EUNAVFOR MED OPERATION IRINI

Bruxelles, 3^rd-7^th February, Rear Admiral Valentino RINALDI, EUNAVFOR MED IRINI Operation Commander (OPCDR), attended the EU Ambassadors Conference 2025.

This annual event provided a meaningful chance for the EU’s esteemed diplomats, along with high-ranking military and civil leaders, to collectively reflect on the pivotal elements of the EU’s foreign, security and defense policy.

EU High Representative for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy/Vice-President of the Commission, Kaja Kallas, was one of the high-profile speakers at the conference, which provided a constructive setting for exchanging views on the EU’s strategic direction and strengthening international relations.

This year’s conference, themed “EU Foreign Policy that Delivers,” was centered on examining shared global challenges and addressed major geopolitical developments as the ongoing conflict in Ukraine, the tensions in the Middle East and the current situation in Syria.
