A delegation of Slovenian Joint General Staff School and the Brigadier General David Humar, Slovenian Military Attache to Italy, visited EUNAVFOR MED IRINI OHQ
Today, a delegation of Slovenian Joint General Staff School and the Brigadier General David Humar, Slovenian military Attache to Italy, visited EUNAVFOR MED IRINI Operation Headquarters in Rome and met with the IRINI’s Chief of Staff, the Commodore Charitos Prokopios.
The Brigadier General, with the Slovenian delegation, appreciated IRINI’s commitment to support the implementation of the United Nations arms embargo in Libya, the prevention of the illegal export of crude oil and the disruption of the business model of human smuggling.
During the event, the Slovenian delegation visited the Joint Operation Centre (JOC), the operational heart of the Headquarters, from where all the activities are controlled.
