EUNAVFOR MED has a new Chief of Staff
New Chief of Staff of EUNAVFOR MED Operation Irini
Commodore Theodoros Mikropoulos, from the Hellenic Navy, is the new Chief of Staff of EUNAVFOR MED Operation Irini.
Brigadier General Sebastiano Longo , from Italian Army, handed over the duty in the presence of the Operation Commander, Rear Admiral Fabio Agostini.
Commodore Theodoros Mikropoulos has been the Commander of the Hellenic Naval base in Souda Bay (Crete), and before that he held senior positions in the Hellenic Navy.
