The Polish news program Wiadomości TVP broadcasts a report about Operation IRINI last night. It highlighted the importance of IRINI’s mandate and the valuable contribution of the Polish contingent. Poland is an important contributor to Operation EUNAVFORMED IRINI to implement the UN arms embargo on Libya.
During the wording phase of the TV reportage, the Polish journalist, Magdalena Wolinska-Riedi, visited also EUNAVFOR MED IRINI’s Operation Headquarters and met the Operation Commander, Rear Admiral Stefano Turchetto. The Operation Commander outlined the Operation’s tasks highlighting the importance of Poland’s contribution.
